Every city and every building has a story to tell. Sometimes, these tales are well-known. Sometimes, they are visible to the eye, but in any case, you have to know where to look. Showing you the stories and the places of ages long past is my passion, and if you want to immerse yourself in the culture and identity of Germany, then you are at the right place.
Originally trained as a diplomat, I offer an in-depth understanding of German history, politics, and cultural identity. Whether you are interested in interpreting half-timbered houses, learning the difference between beer-Germany and wine-Germany, or exploring the fiery crucible of the "German Autumn", I can narrate any aspect of German culture and history.
While politics conspired against my original career ambitions, I instead moved to Germany 10 years ago and have lived here wearing various hats. As a consultant, I have lived and worked in nearly every major German city and many non-major ones (this also includes several other EU countries). I have experienced many of the different regional cultures and identities in Germany and would love to let you experience them as well.
Frankfurt is my permanent home now in Germany, I studied here have worked in at least half of the skyscrapers that make up its global skyline.
In 2024 I underwent an official certification course for the city of Frankfurt and am a registered tour guide for the city.
